Jay graciously volunteered to take us all out to Ruth's Chris steakhouse for dinner one night and we jumped on that! This moment between Owen and my mom is just one of many many great moments between her and my children. She is one of the most committed grandparents I know. They love her. So so much. So much, that I wouldn't even want to ask them to pick between their lovely mother and grandmother. Some things are just better off not knowing.
She is lovely. Patience exudes from her every pore and people just gravitate towards her. She and I talk almost everyday. To put it in her words, "she is just so kissed." Which all of her children immediately know the meaning.
